With over 10 years of industry experience, Helge Borgarts serves as Managing Director at the phenomedia publishing gmbh, responsible for the global operations of the business with a focus on retail sales. After a diploma in science, he started his career with Blue Byte Software, a publisher and developer of games series like Battle Isle or The Settlers, today part of the UbiSoft group. After a fruitful and successful time he moved on to become MD of the German branch of sysis interactive simulations, an awarded Austrian company focusing on intelligent online community platforms and survey tools. After a scientific research break at the Heinrich-Heine University in Düsseldorf, he joined the phenomedia publishing gmbh in 2006.
