Marc Engelsman is VP, Client Programs and Services for Digital Brand Expressions, a top-tier search marketing firm serving Fortune 1000 and middle-market companies that understand the value of their web presence. Marc came to Digital Brand Expressions with over 25 years of experience in marketing and advertising, much of it spent at New York City-based agencies where he directed a range of business-to-business and consumer accounts. This diverse multi-disciplinary marketing background quickly translated to search marketing success as he has led DBE’s clients in the integration of the their offline and online strategies with search engine optimization, paid search, reputation management and/or social media tactics. Marc is an active member of the Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization (SEMPO) – serving on its Marketing and Research committees, acting as an “ambassador” at industry events and was also one of the participants in SEMPO NY’s Great Debate on handling search in-house or through agencies. Marc spoke at the Search Marketing Expo (SMX) conference last October and has been invited back to speak at SMX in February but will be addressing the CGA instead. He is a Steering Committee member of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Marketing Executive Networking Group (MENG) and has been selected to be a judge for the 2009 Effie Awards (marketing effectiveness) by the New York American Marketing Association.
