Kinects for physical therapy, Wii Balance Boards for spinal rehabilition, iPads for adaptive communication for autistics… video games are being used more and more as approachable and engaging tools in the medical sector. Child’s Play is working to get these tools into the hands of pediatric healthcare workers and seeking innovative new applications to meet their unique needs.

Since 2005, Kristin has served as the manager of Child’s Play, a non-profit organization founded to improve the quality of life of hospitalized children by providing facilities with video game consoles, games, books and toys. The Child’s Play network of pediatric hospitals and other partners numbers over 70 across the globe, with over 10 million dollars in toys and cash donated since its inception in 2003.
