Press Release
Another game was produced by a 100% Brazilian game company: Agente 41, an educational game idealized by Lumentech for the State Government of Sergipe.
The game will be freely distributed on CD-ROM at public schools and its proposal is to spread among basic education students, methods to prevent the emergence and breeding of Aedes aegypti, the dengue fever transmitter.
In computer labs at their schools, students will personify a special health agent, "Agente 41", who is also the lead character in the game. As a health agent their aim is to prevent, in a limited time, a potential dengue fever plague by cleaning water tanks, emptying bottles, covering tires, etc.
I see this project as one of the results of the several improvements in the company’s structure that Lumentech has been doing since 2008." says Tiago Melo, General Manager. Tiago trusts that the use of electronic games is an important and helpful educational tool.
Such changes focused the outsourcing market, and the constant improvement of its production process have made its services more competitive. Using this strategy, Lumentech has achieved increasingly strong relationships in Brazilian and international markets, specially countries like USA, Australia and more recently Finland, the later having kept several consecutive projects with the company.
"The contracts with the Finnish customer allowed us to solidify our production process in outsourcing segment", says Amanda Marques, Business Manager. Consequently, Lumentech now expects to establish itself as an important player in Brazilian outsourcing market.
