EA and Eidos Interactive have signed an agreement that grants the exclusive multi-regional distribution and licensing rights to selected titles from the Eidos catalogue to EA Mobile for mobile devices.

EA AND EIDOS ENTER INTO STRATEGIC MOBILE RELATIONSHIP
Sep 16, 2008 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- ERTS | Quote | Chart | News |PowerRating -- Electronic Arts Inc (EA) (Nasdaq:ERTS), an interactive, entertainment, software company, announced on Monday (15 September) that the company has signed an agreement with Eidos Interactive (LSE: SEG), a creator of videogame properties, that sees the exclusive multi-regional distribution and licensing rights to selected titles from the Eidos catalogue being granted to EA Mobile for mobile devices.
Under the agreement, effective immediately, EA will have licences to all existing mobile channels and mobile devices for four key titles from Eidos. These are Tomb Raider Underworld, Just Cause 2, California Games X and Minesweeper.
EA will also have a future option on the mobile versions of the majority of Eidos videogame properties for a period of three years.
Tomb Raider will be one of the first titles to be released on mobile devices.
