Germany’s second largest Triple Play-Provider opts for German Casual Games leader to supply gaming content to unityweb.de, its recently launched general interest portal.

Hamburg / Cologne, 1 October 2008 – Unitymedia, second largest German  provider of media and communications services via broadband, launched its new general interest portal www.unityweb.de at the end of August with a games downloads section powered by INTENIUM, Germany's leading provider of Casual Games. With its new online customer portal Unitymedia offers its cable customers in North Rhine-Westphalia and Hessen a comprehensive entertainment and service offering. It includes everything from a TV guide to lotto games, from weather forecasts to price comparisons, up to the top news in business, sports and entertainment.

The Unityweb’s offer of downloadable games (www.unityweb.de/ games/ download games)  currently comprises more than 200 top games from the three most popular Casual Games genres, such as Logic, Jump’n’Run and Action. All titles come from INTENIUM’s current, constantly expanding portfolio.


The new offer by Unitymedia has been developed by the recently founded Cologne-based agency network ADUNIQUE. This company will also be responsible for the operations and marketing of the platform in the future.
